Weekly Announcements for January 19, 2024

Plan now to join us after the service on January 26 for our very first Chili Cook-Off! Bring a crock pot with your favorite chili or soup to share. The meal will be free, but we will be taking donations at lunch time to benefit Target Dayton Ministries and their efforts to feed the poor and homeless in our community.

We are excited to announce the addition of Greg and Ronda Jones to our Ministry Team. Greg will be taking over the role of Worship Pastor beginning in February. He and Ronda will begin serving at Liberation Church on January 19th and co-lead with Jansey for the final two weeks in January.

Jansey and Vivian Crespo will be remaining at Liberation Church and transitioning to lay ministry. We thank them for their faithful service in this role for the past 18 months! 

Please make a note of a change to our Connect Groups schedule. Both groups will now be meeting on Tuesday night. The first group, led by Pastor Andrea, will now be held at her home on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM.  The second study is held at Joe and Connie McPherson's home on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. We hope you will make one of these small groups a part of your weekly routine! For more information on these groups, talk to any of our staff members before or after any service.

The ministry leadership team will meet next Sunday (1/19) following the morning service for our regularly scheduled monthly meeting. All members of the team, please plan to stay after service for lunch and our meeting!

We need children's workers, nursery attendants, greeters, audio and video technicians, instrumentalists, vocalists, setup crew members to make each Sunday a fantastic worship experience for our guests.
